When running an RMAR report from the report suite, you will be able to “drill-down” into the blue hyperlinked numbers. This will give you a breakdown of all the figures that make up the overall number.

Under Profit and Loss Account, you may find you have some “Unallocated Business“. This will be due to the fact an RMAR category has no been selected in the Policy Commission Profile. To resolve this, follow the steps below:

(1) Open your RMAR report from the MI & Compliance Report Categories. You will need to input the date range you wish to report on.

(2) Under Profit and Loss Account > Unallocated Business select the blue hyperlinked number.

(3) This will give you a breakdown of all the figures that make up this number. You will see that there is nothing reporting under the Report Category & Type. Select the blue hyperlink on the left hand side.

(4a) After selecting the blue hyperlink you will be taken to the Policy’s Commission Ledger. Navigate to the Commission Profile.

(4b) For unallocated fees navigate to the client fees section and select the fee you would like to amend.

(5a) Under the Commission Profile you will see the box RMAR Category empty. Select the blue arrow along side this and enter the correct category and this box will then be populated.

(5b) Ensure the RMAR category for the client fee is set correctly.

(6) Use the Back Arrow to navigate back to the RMAR Breakdown Report and select Refresh this will then remove the amended policy from the Unallocated list.

(7) Complete the steps 1 to 6 until all Unallocated Business is allocated.
