When adding a diary note in FinPlan you will be asked to input a Folder Name.

Adding a folder name is designed to help categorise the note you are adding.

When adding a new diary note, you can add a new folder name or select one of the existing ones from the drop-down list.

To see how folders are used, you will need to go to ‘Diary Notes‘. To access this, please navigate to ‘Organiser’ > ‘Diary Notes‘.

An example of a folder structure used within ‘Diary Notes‘ can be seen below.
