There are two methods available to add external files to a client’s Document store; manually attach using file selector or drag and drop.


Manually attach using file selector

1) Right click on the document window and select Attach Files.

2) Select the files you would you attach in the File Explorer window. Multiple files can be selected if required by holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard when clicking on the file name.

Drag and drop

If you are using a dual monitor or widescreen display you may find it easier to use the standard Windows ‘drag & drop’ feature to select and attach the files.
Click on the file(s) you wish to attach. Multiple files can be selected by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on individual files or by holding down the Shift key and clicking on the first and last file in a list.
Once the files are selected, hold down the mouse key and drag the files to the target folder in FinPlan.
When the mouse-key is released the files will be attached.

Once the files have been attached to the client’s Document store then can be moved to a different folder in the Documents if required.
